Valpey Fisher Unveils VFJA100 Jitter Attenuator
Hopkinton, MA - Valpey Fisher Corporation (AMEX:VPF), a world leader in low noise timing solutions today launched its VFJA100 jitter attenuator. The VFJA100 is capable of providing an output frequency of up to 1GHz with ultra low jitter: <0.200ps and is designed for specific applications in SONET/SDH/ATM, DWDM Line Card, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Forward Error Correction (FEC).
"The new VFJA100 is an important addition to the Valpey Fisher Timing Modules product line," commented Walt Oliwa, VP, R&D at Valpey Fisher. "This timing module features an internal synthesizer that locks to an input reference clock and multiplies it to the desired output frequency," explained Oliwa. "The output frequency is determined by a VCXO designed for a wide pull range, and an internal voltage regulator offers improved stability and ultra low jitter performance. The VFJA100 meets OC-192 jitter transfer, generation, and tolerance." The VFJA 100 is available in a low profile surface mount package.
