Providing anti-virus and spam protection, eFax online Message Center enables users to search, edit, store, and organize their faxes using key words, searchable protocols, and other parameters. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 / -- j2 Global Communications, Inc. (NasdaqGS: JCOM) the provider of outsourced, value-added messaging and communications services, today announced several new and planned enhancements to eFax's online Message Center.
Effective immediately, eFax customers' online storage periods for their incoming messages and faxes have been extended to as much as two years. eFax customers will now enjoy the ability to view faxes online for a much longer period than previously offered, all protected by the patented anti-virus and spam protection provided by j2 Global subsidiary ElectricMail® (www.electricmail.com).
j2 Global also unveiled plans for a comprehensive re-design to its eFax online Message Center:
o Completely redesigned User Interface: The eFax Message Center will be
completely revamped to update and streamline the end-user experience,
providing easier access to commonly-used features.
o Additional Document Storage: In addition to received faxes, eFax Plus
and Pro users will be able to import/upload and store additional
document types to their Message Center, expanding the utility of the
eFax online experience to document management for multiple media types.
o Searchable/Indexed Faxes: eFax Plus and Pro users will be able to
search, edit, store and organize their faxes using key words,
searchable protocols and other parameters.
