Permlight Introduces Cool White LED Recessed Can Trim for Commercial Applications

o Only 15Watts With 60LPW Efficacy

o Installations Already in Hotels and Commercial Buildings

TUSTIN, Calif., and MARTINEZ, Calif., Aug. 15 // -- Permlight Products announced today that it has introduced a new LED recessed can for commercial and hotel applications. The Enbryten Down Cool White (5600-6500K) recessed can trim consumes only 15 Watts and uses 60 lumen per watt (LPW) LEDs. The new fixture is UL Classified for use with twenty (20) different existing recent cans from Halo, Juno, Progress, Nora and many others.

The ENBC Series WHT70 model is available in 120VAC, 240VAC and 277VAC input. The 120VAC input version works with any off-the-shelf phase control dimmer. The Nichia based LED system and integral patented electronic ballast configuration is warranted for 3 years with expected lifetimes of 30,000-50,000 hours based on ambient conditions. Permlight's patented technology ensures components are run at proper temperatures to comply with UL1598 and to meet rated lifetimes.

"We have seen tremendous acceptance of our new cool white high output recessed can for commercial applications including hotels and offices," stated Manuel Lynch, President and CEO of Permlight. "We have done numerous installations around the world with this product and have been told that energy savings of up to $1500 per month per floor can be achieved in some hotels. Due to the long lifetime compared to problematic fluorescent bulbs and ballasts this low cost product is destined to replace fluorescent lighting in numerous applications. This is also a very green building product as it contains no mercury as does fluorescent."

The ENBC-120DIM-WHT70-6F-WHT is UL Classified as a 15Watt fixture with higher light output than a 26Watt cool white fluorescent system. UL Classified for use in incandescent or hardwired can configurations this product is already approved for virtually any existing application and can be retrofit within minutes.

"We are seeing rapid adoption of this new product. Businesses in California and Hawaii are tapping into the low energy qualities of this product to offset climbing energy prices," commented Lynch.

The ENBC-120DIM-WHT70-6F-WHT is priced at only $60.00 in volume and is available for purchase off the company website at http://www.permlight.com/
