The Wheelabrator 45 Cu. Ft. Super V Tumblast Offers Excellent Reliability, Versatility For High Performance Batch Cleaning

LaGrange, GA - (February 28, 2002) -The Wheelabrator 45 cu. ft. Super V Tumblast(TM) machine offers excellent reliability and versatility for high performance batch cleaning. Designed to suit a broad range of requirements and operating conditions, the Super V Tumblast provides unequalled performance for applications that demand durability and performance. The Wheelabrator(R) 45 cu. ft. Super V Tumblast is ideal for castings, diecast deflashing, contaminant removal, peening, and surface finishing.

Employing two 15" bi-directional Wheelabrator wheel assemblies powered by 75 hp direct drive motors, the Wheelabrator Super V Tumblast offers excellent blasting efficiency in a field proven system. The Tumblast uses 15" diameter blast wheels in cast manganese wheel housings with LongLyfe(R) premium cast liners for added durability. Additionally, the mill conveyor uses heat-treated cast steel chain links with hardened steel link pins, 1" thick manganese barrel head liners, replaceable Long-Lyfe cast and manganese fabricated cabinet liners, and a hydraulic powered work door.

The 45 cu. ft. Super V Tumblast has a compact footprint of 25' x 10'5" and is 24'9" tall. It requires an initial abrasive charge of 10,000 lbs. The free standing control panel features programmable electric controls or relay logic in a NEMA 12 enclosure. Control panel components are U.L. listed and N.E.C approved.

The machine features the Soundabator(TM) abrasive control valves with noise reduction in a totally enclosed assembly with pneumatic operation and fine adjustment capability. In addition, the abrasive reclaim system includes a lower shaker reclaim conveyor, belt and bucket elevator, upper screw conveyor, shaft mounted gear motor drives, and a compensating flow airwash separator that removes contaminants from the blast media while reclaiming and recycling the media to the wheels.

Options for the Wheelabrator 45 Cu. Ft. Super V Tumblast include: manganese flights, hydraulic type loader, jet pulse dust collectors, zero speed switches, double lip airwash separator, foundry duty magnetic separator, automatic abrasive adder, shaker takeaway conveyor, fully automated control package, MagnaValve(R) magnetic abrasive valves, touch screen controls, and installation and maintenance services.
