Electronic Timecard Captures Labor and Job Costs New Technology Saves Time and Money

Vancouver WA. March 4, 2002 - Tractivity announced a unique technology to capture labor activities using an electronic timecard device called a Personal Data Collector (PDC). Employees conveniently record their activities when and where work is performed eliminating disruption and accuracy problems. At the end of the work period PDCs are returned to a wall-mounted docking center that immediately transfers the information to a computer database. The Systems provide timesheets, payroll, job cost, productivity, budget variance and net profit reports that enable management to easily identify and correct problems. Actual time and costs measurements increase confidence and eliminate guesswork.

"Businesses have been attempting to capture job and process costs for years - without much success," said Chris Madore, Tractivity President. "Our research indicates most businesses are spending between $2 and $5 per employee each workday just to operate their manual or stationary tracking methods and yet these systems are riddled with problems. Tractivity deploys for less then $1 per employee workday and provides unsurpassed accuracy."

"We save time and money every month using Tractivity", said Mike
Redman, a Tractivity user and owner of Creative Woodworking in
Portland, Oregon. "Our employees like the personal data collectors because they are convenient and easy use."

Tractivity's patented technology is a major advance for business
management information systems. The Tractivity Systems utilize world standard software technology and support data exchange with most modern business software programs.

The new Systems are priced from $4995 and include software and hardware to equip eight employees. Additional eight employee modules priced at $2495 may be added to expand the system to any size organization.

Summary
Tractivity's new labor tracking systems provide management with
accurate information previously unavailable for a cost lower than
manual tracking methods. The portable technology allows employees to record their transactions without disruption from any location. The management information that Tractivity provides allows a business to quickly and effectively identify and correct problems with pricing and operations.

About Tractivity
Tractivity (formerly Specialized Solutions) is a privately held
Washington corporation with offices in Vancouver, WA. Since 1989
Tractivity has been engaged in the development of reliable software and hardware solutions for field data collection for the Regional Bell Operating Companies. In 1996 the company began to focus its expertise on the development of the Tractivity System - an entirely new technology for tracking labor activities and related ancillary data. With product shipments beginning in 1998 there is now a substantial base of successful customer installations in a wide range of industries.

In June 1999, the U.S. Patent Office issued a broadly worded patent number 5,909,672 recognizing this technological advancement.
