High Speed Steel Annular Cutters Introduced By Milwaukee Electric Tool
Brookfield, WI (March 2002) --Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation has announced the introduction of a series of uniquely designed Annular Cutters for fast precise drilling in metal for the steel and metal fabricating, truck and auto manufacturing, bridge building, construction, shipyard and marine industries.
The new High Speed Steel (HSS) Annular Cutters feature an innovative geometry in which every other tooth is double beveled. The design enables immediate centering resulting in faster, more precise cutting. A unique thin wall design makes cutting faster and more efficient by removing less material. A short flute design enables chips to fall freely from the cutter. The 1" depth HSS cutters are available in 25 diameters ranging from 1/2" to 2" in 1/16" increments.
For maximum versatility the new cutters feature the industry standard 3/4" Weldon(R) shank which enables the cutters to be used on any competitive magnetic drill stands equipped with a 3/4" Weldon(R) bit holder. With the addition of the Milwaukee Electric Tool's M3 Taper Arbor Assembly (49-57-0025) the cutters can be used with Milwaukee's large mag stands. The addition of the HSS Annular Cutters expands Milwaukee Electric Tool's family of Steel Hawg(R) threaded and quick-change tang drive carbide tipped annular cutters.
