Signal Conditioners support any standard LVDT.

March 15, 2002 - LPC-2100 Series LVDT signal conditioners operate from 115 or 220 Vac, 50-60 Hz line power. User-selectable 0 to ±10 Vdc or 4-20mA analog outputs work in both OEM and system installations. Units can be calibrated for 100% zero offset, allowing 0 to ±10 Vdc output over sensor's range. Multiple signal conditioners can be synchronized to support multi-channel applications. DIN rail mountable housing enables integration with other devices.

Low Cost, Compact LVDT Signal Conditioner

Ideal For A Variety of Industrial Applications

Pennsauken, NJ, March 4, 2002. Macro Sensors, a manufacturer of innovative linear and rotary position sensors, and related instrumentation, introduces a new line of rugged and compact LVDT signal conditioners that support any standard LVDT.

Operating from either 115V AC or 220V AC, 50 -60 Hz line power, the LPC-2100 Series offers user-selectable 0 to ±10V DC or 4-20mA analog outputs to work in both OEM and system installations. Units can be calibrated for 100% zero offset, allowing a 0 - ±±10 V DC output over the entire range of the sensor. Multiple signal conditioners can be synchronized to support multi-channel applications.

A DIN rail mountable housing enables the LPC-2100 to easily integrate with PLCs, timers, circuit breakers and other DIN rail mounted modules. Once installed, all wire connections including line power are recessed, protecting operating personnel from contact. The LPC-2100 offers superior signal processing when compared to its predecessor, the LPC-2000.

Measuring just 4.01" wide x 2.95" high, the compact LPC-2100 works in factory locations where space is limited. Units are rated for operation over a temperature range of 0 deg F to ±160 deg F and display a temperature coefficient of sensitivity of <0.1%/degrees F/FSO.

Pricing for the LPC-2100 begins at $280 per unit, with quantity discounts. The size, price and performance of the LPC-2100 make it ideal for factory automation applications.
