Thermocouple continuously measures stator temperature over ranges from 0 to 255 deg C. If stator temperature rises above specified cut-off point, optical or acoustic signal shows on controller display. Controller can also be set to switch pump off immediately. Applications include situations where pump is unattended during operation.
