NEMO(R) PUMP OFFERS A STATOR PROTECTION DEVICE

EXTON, PA, MARCH, 2002 The NEMO(R) Pump Division of NETZSCH Incorporated offers a proven stator protection device that prevents pumps from running dry. Dry running severely damages pumps, resulting in costly customer repairs. NETZSCH recognizes this problem and offers stator protection in situations where a pump is possibly unattended during operation.

The stator protection device consists of a Thermocouple (mounted in the stator), a Temperature Sensor and a Temperature Controller. The thermocouple continuously measures the stator temperature and ranges from 0° C to 255° C. If the stator temperature rises above a specified cut-off point which is set on the controller, an optical or acoustic signal is indicated on the controller display. The controller can also be set to switch the pump off immediately.

NETZSCH Incorporated is the North American subsidiary of the globally operating group of NETZSCH companies. NETZSCH is one of the world's leading manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps, wet and dry grinding dispersion equipment and filtration systems. NETZSCH Incorporated has been serving the North American market for more than 30 years.
