New Miller(R) MightyLite 175-foot Sealed Self-Retracting Lifeline Provides Fall Protection Safety with Limited Lifetime Warranty

FRANKLIN, Pa. (February 7, 2002) - Dalloz Fall Protection introduces a new MightyLite 175-foot Sealed Self-Retracting Lifeline that provides workers freedom of movement while arresting falls within two feet or less. Designed for workers in oil and gas, communications, agriculture and mining industries, these sealed units can be permanently installed in hard-to-mount locations.

Miller(R) MightyLite lifelines provide safe and reliable fall protection for workers involved in ladder and tower climbing, tower installation and maintenance, well overhaul and services, and drilling/exploration. Durable MightyLite lifelines are produced with corrosion-resistant components and a sealed braking system to resist dirt and debris. The units are deigned to handle the tough environmental conditions on drilling rigs, grain elevators, tower cranes and other long-range applications.

With fall protection solutions for any application in 20-, 30- 50-, 65-, 100-, 130- and 175-foot lengths, units are available in durable stainless steel or galvanized wire rope. The 50-foot MightyLite lifeline provides the only polyester webbing unit available on the market. To protect the polyester webbing on the 20- and 50-foot units, Dalloz introduces another industry first -- DuPont Teflon HT, an invisible finish that repels water/oil, grease, dirt, concrete dust and other substances that may damage the webbing -- resulting in frayed threads and removal from service.

All Miller MightyLite models feature:
* Quick-activating inertia brakes
* Compact design -- up to 30 percent lighter than any competitive models
* Double-swivel design improves maneuverability and prevents lifeline twisting or kinking

Unless involved in a fall, MightyLite Self-Retracting Lifelines do not require annual factory recertification -- reducing total cost of ownership.*

New Limited Lifetime Warranty
To ensure total satisfaction assurance, Dalloz Fall Protection manufactures products to meet the highest standards, and endure rigorous third-party testing. In the unlikely event that a defect occurs in workmanship or materials, our Limited Lifetime Warranty will ensure that we will repair or replace any product. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear.

All Miller MightyLite Self-Retracting Lifelines meet OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards.

*Does not apply to Canada due to CSA Z259.2.2-98 requirements
