This new long stroke 100mm linear encoder completes the standard range of high accuracy measuring device of Solartron Metrology. The accuracy, over the full 100mm stroke, of better than 1 micron with a resolution equal to 0.05 micron. Due to the quality of build, and robustness, this makes the linear encoder to be used in industrial and scientific applications where a high level of performance is required.
Signals from the probe interface electronics are digital (Orbit) and easy to interface with a PC/PLC or our "plug and go" range of digital readouts. It has also the ability to be mixed with Digital Probes. The product is CE marked and a calibration certificate in mm or inches comes with each transducer.
