ESAB's All-State(R) Line Introduces New Strongset Solder Kit
Florence, SC - ESAB Welding & Cutting Products' All-State® line of maintenance and repair welding products will introduce a new STRONGSET Solder Kit at ASHRAE 2002. The new kit includes a refillable butane micro-flame torch with a child-safe ignition and six assorted syringes. The STRONGSET Solder Paste syringes include formulations bearing silver, copper, aluminum and a zinc-type "pot-metal." All are lead-free and cadmium-free and have no antimony. The STRONGSET Plastic Epoxy is a heat-activated single component for most plastics. Black and white are included to make a total of six syringes. The STRONGSET Solder Kit also includes coupons for practicing.
The Strongset Solder Kit allows easy one-handed soldering on the toughest applications of thin gauge metals, even dissimilar combinations such as aluminum to stainless steel. Strongset Solder is a high strength, low temperature solder providing outstanding strength and corrosion resistance with exceptional wetting and flow characteristics. The aluminum and silver formulations are approved and safe for food service use. The STRONGSET plastic epoxy facilitates easy repairs to PVC, ABS and other types of plastics.
