Royal M-2 Core Pins are offered in every decimal diameter from 0.010" to 0.505" in 0.001" increments, with 0.0002" or 0.0003" dia. tolerances, and eliminate the need to grind down fractional bodies for a precise fit. Double-tempered to Rc 60-63, these wear-resistant core pins have smaller head diameters to permit close spacing without modification.
Allowing moldmakers to jig-grind holes and then order a standard diameter from over 500 sizes to achieve a precision fit, instead of requiring a special design, Royal M-2 Core Pins are available from stock in standard 2", 2 1/2", 3", 4", 6", and 8" lengths.
