The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has introduced the M5-size silencer as an addition to its line of ASN Plastic Silencers, all of which are designed as economical
alternatives to metal silencers. The new M5 ASN Silencer provides excellent noise reduction with a minimum effect on air efficiency (79 dBA at maximum flow of 15 SCFM at 100 PSIG).The silencer fits directly into the exhaust port of most commercial valves, and its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to install in the tightest places without extra plumbing or fittings. The open surface area of the polyethylene element permits rapid air discharge without undesirable back pressure. The M5 ASN Plastic Silencer has a pressure rating of 0 to 150
PSIG, a temperature rating of 14° to 140° F and is available with NPT or BSPT threads.
