Treck TCP/IP 6.0 Released
CINCINNATI, - Treck Incorporated, a leading provider of embedded Internet protocols, announced today the general availability of Treck TCP/IP version 6.0. The latest version of the industry-leading communications software provides numerous upgrades that increase versatility, performance, and ease of use. In addition to its existing robust feature set, Treck TCP/IP now offers support for 64-bit processors, the ability to manage over 64,000 concurrent connections, reduced memory footprint, and the ability to un-initialize the entire protocol stack freeing all global variables and system resources.
Included in Treck 6.0 is full support for several new RFCs including:
-- RFC 3484: Default Address Selection for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
-- RFC 3736: Stateless Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Service for IPv6
-- RFC 4443: Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMPv6) for the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Specification
