November 27, 2009 - Clear non-phthalate RNR Child-Safe Vinyl is double-polished, CPSIA- and TPCH-compliant material that is safe for manufacturing and packaging children's products. Available off-the-shelf in 6-12 ga thicknesses, recyclable DPC vinyl can be used for manufacturing made-to-order vinyl pockets, sleeves, and display holders in variety of styles and sizes from 2 in.2 up to 24 x 36 in. It can be used for toys and as loose-leaf and stationary items.

CPSIA Compliant Vinyl Safe for Children's Products


A new line of clear non-phthalate CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008) compliant vinyl that is safe for children's products is being introduced by RNR Plastics, Inc. of Raynham, Massachusetts.

RNR Child-Safe Vinyl is a double polished clear, non-phthalate CPSIA and TPCH (Toxics in Packaging Clearing House) compliant material that is safe for manufacturing and packaging children's products. Suitable for use in toys and as loose-leaf and stationary items, this DPC vinyl can be finished into a wide range of products by the firm or supplied as roll goods.

Available off-the-shelf in 6 to 12 Gauge thicknesses, RNR Child-Safe Vinyl is recyclable and can be used for manufacturing made to order vinyl pockets, sleeves, and display holders in a variety of styles and sizes from 2" sq. up to 24" x 36". Finished products can be die-cut, punched, and include windows, grommets, magnets, and special printing or embossing.

RNR Child-Safe Vinyl is being offered to OEMs and distributors. Free samples and pricing are available upon request. Note: TPCH was formerly known as CONEG.
