The thermal imager is housed in an enclosure that is rated NEMA 6P, IP68 and is certified Class I Division 2 for gas groups A through D. The assembly is pressurized and has a wide operating temperature range making useful in almost any environment. When used with IVC's camera management software, this camera provides both local and remote monitoring of industrial facilities. The camera can detect human activity over 1,500 feet away.

The camera operates in black hot, white hot, and color modes. First shipments are slated for December, 2009.

IVC camera offering includes pan-tilt zoom, fixed, auto-zoom and varifocal (manual zoom) cameras.
