Schneider Electric Announces New Reporting Features in PowerLogic(TM) ION Enterprise(TM) Software
Palatine, Ill. (USA), September 10, 2009 - Global power and automation leader Schneider Electric has announced the release of major enhancements to PowerLogic(TM) ION Enterprise(TM) Software, its successful power management software package. The product offers metering and protection, with extensive capabilities via a new Web Reporter module, making it fast and easy for the user to create, customize and schedule reports.
PowerLogic ION Enterprise Software tracks real-time power conditions, analyzes power quality and reliability, and responds quickly to alarms to avoid critical situations. A vital part of this application is the data gathering network, which recently expanded to include the Sepam series of protective relays.
The software delivers energy usage and power quality information exactly when, where and how the user needs it. New reporting functions include period-over-period or by-shift comparisons, trending and tables, alarm and events history, and system configuration. It also boasts a 100-millisecond, time-stamped report, using circuit breaker activity, to aid fast and accurate power xquality problem diagnosis and support evasive action control.
PowerLogic ION Enterprise Software offers new display formats that include histograms, pie charts, tables and trends. This latest release enhances report generation flexibility by exporting the reports to a PDF or Word® format, in addition to the existing Excel®, HTML, and XML formats. This proven software solution adds a scalable, flexible layer of energy information intelligence to any power management system.
