November 10, 2009 - Available with 100 Mbps copper to four 1 Gbps interfaces, IPNetSim(TM) simulates all conditions encountered in real-time, such as network latency, network delay variation, bandwidth congestion, packet loss, and bit errors. Delay times from 1 ms to 10 sec make simulator suitable for satellite delay modeling. Additional features include Bridge or Router modes, command line interface, and remote access via Ethernet management port.

GL Enhances IPNetSim(TM)- an IP Network Simulator


Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - October 30, 2009 - GL Communications Inc. announced today the release of enhanced IPNetSim(TM) - A simple to use tool that simulates an entire IP Network in one box. Speaking to the press, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni, CEO of the company said, "IPNetSim(TM) simulates IP networks. Interfaces for 100 Mbps copper to 4 (Four) 1 Gbps interfaces are available. Simulate all conditions encountered in real-time such as network latency, network delay variation (jitter), bandwidth congestion, packet loss, bit errors and other network impairments". He added, "Impairments can be independently applied to either or both directions".

Mr. Kulkarni further added, "The IPNetSim(TM) with the 1Gbps option can emulate up to 4 separate individual 1 Gbps interfaces simultaneously for an aggregate throughput of 4 Gbps, making it ideal for both multi-link configurations and multi-user labs. The compact 1U-sized appliance includes both copper and modular fiber/copper Gigabit Ethernet interfaces".

GL's Handheld data testers can test a wide variety of communications facilities and equipment including T1, fractional T1, E1, fractional E1, T3 and E3 modems, multiplexers, CSU, DSUs, T1 CSUs, DTUs, NTUs and TIUs and more. The testers provide convenience, economy, and portability for almost any interface, including RS232, RS-422, RS-530, X.21, T1, E1, T3, E3, and many others.
