Supplied in 1U form factor, FWS-7150 comes in 2 models featuring either up to 2.0 GHz VIA C7(TM)/Eden(TM) CPU with 400/800 MHz FSB or 1.0 GHz onboard C7 CPU with 400 MHz FSB. There are 5 LAN ports, which consist of 5 PCI 10/100Base-TX Ethernet LAN ports - 2 of which offer bypass function. Equipped with VIA CN700 +VT8237R+ chipset, appliance offers two 240-pin DDRII 400/533 DIMM sockets that accommodate up to 2 GB max system memory. Range of I/O promotes connectivity as well as expansion.
AAEON Releases a New Network Appliance Platform - FWS-7150
Taipei Taiwan (August 25, 2009)-- The FWS-7150 comes in two models and is equipped with either the VIA C7/ Eden Processor (up to 2.0 GHz) with 400/800MHz and Front Side Bus (FSB) or onboard VIA C7 1.0 GHz, 400MHz FSB. The chipset is equipped with VIA CN700 +VT8237R+. The system memory features two 240-pin DDRII 400/533 DIMM sockets (up to 2 GB). It deploys five LAN ports that consist of five PCI 10/100Base-TX Ethernet LAN ports with two ports bypass function. The FWS-7150's compact appearance features a desktop form factor that fits nicely into a space-limited environment.
The FWS-7150 also features one ATA-100, two SATA I, and a CompactFlashTM Type II connector with ATA mode. In addition, it offers flexible expansion with network products and features one Mini-PCI Type III expansion socket, two USB 2.0 ports and one RS-232 console port on the front panel. The console port deploys console re-direction that increases the network security via remote control. All of these designs provide for a more user-friendly solution.
