Operating in temperatures from -40 to +85°C, Models AMExx30-MAZ, 30 W and AMExx40-MAZ, 40 W converters offer output currents up to 8 A. Universal input range is 90-269 Vac, 47-440 Hz, as well as 120-370 Vdc, stepping down to single and dual output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 Vdc. Units also feature leakage current of 150 µA and ripple/noise as low as 50 mVp-p. Providing short circuit protection with auto recovery, they are shock- and vibration-resistant.

Designed with a universal input range of 90~260VAC, 47~440Hz , as well as 120~370VDC, stepping down to single and dual output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC, the AMExx40-MAZ series features the unique combination of parameters that distinguish Aimtec's entire AC/DC product line:
o I/O isolation 4000VAC with EN60601-1-2 certification for medical applications
o Ultra wide industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C
o Low Leakage current 150uA
o Ripple and noise as low as 50 mV p-p
o Tight line and load regulation of ±0.5% (no minimum load required)
o Short circuit protection with auto recovery
o AMExx30-MAZ (30 watt) and AMExx40-MAZ (40 watt) are offered in five
different package types (encapsulated, open frame-screw terminal,
enclosed-screw terminal, open frame-connector package, enclosed-connector package)
These robust converters have also passed the environmental shock and vibration tests in accordance to the parameters for passenger, commercial and industrial transportation applications.
