AXIOMTEK Introduces Energy-saving Intel® Pentium® M 1U Network Appliance Platform, NA-811C, with 4 Gigabyte LANs for Small to Medium Business
AXIOMTEK's new energy-saving NA-811C 19" 1U rackmount network appliance platform is configured with an ultra low power Intel® Celeron® M / Pentium® M processor with the Mobile Intel® 915GME chipset, delivering exceptional performance with the minimum power consumption for small to medium businesses. The NA-811C supports two DDR2 SODIMM slots with 400/533 memory up to 2GB capacity. Available with four Gigabit Ethernet ports thru PCIe interface with IP / UDP / TCP checksum offloading and VLAN tag support, the platform deliveries high throughput. To prevent problems from suddenly shutdown, the NA-811C supports a LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. The power-saving 1U network appliance is ideal for small to medium businesses looking for a cost-effective hardware platform for firewall, VPN, UTM, or other embedded box with multiple-LAN solutions.
The NA-811C has space for two 2.5" SATAII HDD or one 3.5" SATAII HDD up to Terabytes storage space for storing event log data. To ensure an uninterrupted network connection, the network communication appliance supports a bypass function which is activated automatically when system is powered down or off. It also features function of BIOS redirection to console port. SNMP is by customer request. Other I/O features include one console ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and system reset switch (optional). One MiniPCI slot is available for expansion. For efficient system monitoring, the NA-811C provides the LED indicators for power status, HDD activity, and network activities. Moreover, it supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 and 2.4 operating systems to better support customers who have developed applications on the above listed versions.
