Harris HSO4529 50 hp baler features cycle times of 6.5 sec and volumetric displacement/production throughput for shredded OCC of up to 14 tons/hr and for shredded news up to 16 tons/hr. Maximum operating pressure is 3,000 psi and ram face pressure is 89 and 120 psi. In economy mode, one 25 hp motor shuts down to conserve energy. Baler features rear access door, for access to cylinders, and enclosed power unit with hinged wire tie inserters and twister units to simplify access.

Made for tight spaces the Harris HSO 4529 baler's small foot print (less than 15' long) is perfect for many places where a traditional horizontal baler will not fit. Powerful for its size the HSO 4529 is energy friendly. The 50 HP model has an "economy mode" shutting down one of the twin 25 HP motors to save energy and save you money.
The Harris new horizontal has fast cycle times showing 6.5 sec with the twin 25 HP, it has high volumetric displacement and production throughput for shredded OCC up to 14 TPH (2 x 25HP) and for shredded news up to 16 TPH ( 2 x 25HP). The max operating pressure is 3000 PSI and ram face pressure is 89 PSI and 120 PSI to handle the toughest materials. Other features include but are not limited to: high strength design and construction, rear access doors enable excellent accessibility to cylinders, the enclosed power unit reduces noise levels; it has hinged wire tie inserters and twister units for easy access.
