Electric, variable-speed dressing and truing systems (DTS) employ spindles that operate using custom-engineered brushless DC servomotors. These units drive diamond truing rolls and produce as well as maintain precision contours in grinding wheels. Compact spindles allow units to fit limited-space areas and can be viable replacements for single-point, hydraulic, and pneumatic dressers.
