Gate Drive Interface Board is designed for dual IGBT modules.
October 6, 2009 -
Model VLA536-01R is gate drive interface board in which control signals are isolated using high-speed optocouplers with 15 kV/µs common mode noise immunity. It provides 2,500 Vrms isolation for control power and signals, as well as isolated fault feedback signal if short circuit condition is detected. Measuring 101 x 64 mm, board includes CMOS-compatible input interface and mounts to dual NX IGBT modules. Unit operates from 15 Vdc power supply.
Powerex Introduces Gate Drive Unit for NX-Series IGBT Family
Powerex recently introduced another accessory product to help reduce design time and shorten time to market.
Designed for use with dual IGBT modules, specifically Powerex NX-Series IGBTs, VLA536-01R is a completely populated gate drive interface board. Control signals are isolated using high speed opto couplers with 15KV/us common mode noise immunity. The VLA536-01 also provides an isolated fault feedback signal if a short circuit condition is detected.
