Tire Mold Cavity Lube increases consistent production output.


October 7, 2009 - Designed to increase production efficiency by enhancing tire molding process, DiamondKote(TM) has water-based formulation that exhibits durability and promotes overall cavity lube consumption. Reduced spray frequency also promotes output in-between applications, minimizing downtime. Other effects include reduced build-up of lube, rubber remnants, and other contaminants on mold surface, which lends to extended intervals between scheduled mold cleanings.

Franklynn Launches DiamondKote(TM) Tire Cavity Lube


Loveland, OH
Franklynn Industries, a global manufacturer of mold release agents, announced today the launch of DiamondKote Tire Mold Cavity Lube.

In keeping with Franklynn's core philosophy of formulating products that increase production efficiency, DiamondKote Cavity Lube was developed specifically to enhance the tire molding process. This new water-based formulation exhibits durability as much as 3x higher than competition, which brings significant reduction in overall cavity lube consumption. Such reduced spray frequency also allows for higher output in between applications, minimum downtime and maximum productivity.

Additionally, DiamondKote reduces build up of lube, rubber remnants and other contaminants on the mold surface and therefore, allows for longer intervals between scheduled mold cleanings. The ease of tire removal from the mold shortens 'open press' time by up to 60%.

All these attributes combined, tire molders may expect significant productivity enhancements and cost savings.

DiamondKote Cavity Lube is available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallons drums and 375-gallon totes.
