Available in rectangular style EL and droplet style DL, MINITEC Pocket Enclosures offer dimensions ranging from 2.007 x 1.259 x 0.511 in. to 3.307 x 2.086 x 0.748 in. Each case consists of top, bottom, and soft intermediate ring, which is molded in soft touch TPE in 4 standard colors. Recessed top part is designed for locating membrane keypad or product label. Typical applications include personal safety, detection, monitoring, emergency call, audio, alarm, and remote control devices.
Due to popular demand, OKW have extended their ground breaking 'MINITEC' pocket enclosures with two larger sizes EL and DL. These highly attractive multi-colored cases have been designed for personal electronic devices which can be carried in the hand, on a key ring, wrist strap, or neck chain.
Typical applications will include personal safety, detection, monitoring, emergency call, audio, alarm, and remote control devices.
When taking into account the new sizes, and all the different styles, formats and color options, over 170 individual 'MINITEC' enclosures are available. The range consists of two basic styles: rectangular style 'E' and droplet style 'D'. There are now six external sizes available with dimensions ranging from 2.007" x 1.259" x 0.511" to 3.307" x 2.086" x 0.748".
Each case consists of a top part, bottom part and a soft intermediate ring. The top and base parts are molded in off-white or lava gray ABS, or black infra-red transparent PMMA (UL 94 HB). The intermediate rings are molded in soft touch TPE in four standard colors: volcano gray, orange, lime green and bright blue. The rings feature molded eyelets, or strap loops, for fitting the accessory key ring, wrist strap or neck chain.
The recessed top part is designed for locating a membrane keypad or product label. Style 'E' is also offered with a smooth top for fitting rubber keypads etc.
Location bosses are molded in the base parts for mounting PCBs and components, and the cases are assembled using a single self-tapping fixing screw.

OKW can supply the 'MINITEC' enclosures machined with holes for keypads, connectors, LEDs etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and EMI/RFI shielding.
