Engineered of nickel-plated machined brass, 75 W V-Bite(TM) Female RCA Connectors have gold contacts for optimum signal integrity in audio and video applications. Straight-through contact design provides low reflection factor with VSWR of 1.30. Featuring anti-rotation abilities, connectors snap and lock in place for secure PCB retention during soldering. Units are supported from above and below board to disperse rotational torque relief, minimizing stress on solder area.
New RCA V-Bite(TM) Edgeboard Connectors from Bomar Engineered for Unparalleled Audio/Video Quality
Female Interconnects Feature Gold Contacts For Minimal Signal Loss
Ledgewood, NJ, September 21, 2009...Bomar Interconnect Products, Inc. announced the addition of female RCA connectors to their proprietary RoHS-compliant V-Bite(TM) Series of RF edgeboard connectors. Boasting gold contacts to ensure optimum signal integrity in audio and video applications, the new 75-ohm interfaces join the V-Bite Series, which additionally includes standard male and female Type N, sealed Type N, Type F, threaded through-panel BNC and standard BNC, twin BNC, mini-BNC, and TNC styles. All connectors in the Series feature an extremely low profile (½ the connector's diameter) and small footprint making them an ideal choice for high-density, space-constrained designs. Further, the connectors' precision engineering provides superior anti-rotation abilities to ensure robust connections. V-Bites easily snap and lock in place for secure PCB retention during hand or reflow soldering, and are supported from above and below the board to disperse rotational torque relief to minimize stress on the solder area.
Bomar's RCA V-Bites promote superior quality video signal, resolution, color, and audio accuracy in a broad range of commercial, industrial, and consumer applications. The jack is frequently specified to connect RG59 or RG6 coaxial cables in such applications as CATV, HDTV, broadband, DSS (digital satellite systems), plasma displays, projectors, security, audio installations, and in residential structured wiring.
Offered standard with gold contacts, Bomar's V-Bites are engineered of nickel-plated machined brass. Notably, their straight-through contact design provides an extremely low reflection factor with a VSWR of 1.30. Parts are supplied with a Teflon dielectric to facilitate reflow soldering, and are offered in an extensive selection of standard and custom mechanical configurations. All-gold body parts are available by special order. For additional information, visit http://bomarinterconnect.com/v-bite.htm.
OEM pricing for Bomar's female RCA V-Bite connectors starts at $2.78 each in quantities of 1,000. While delivery is from stock to 12 weeks, samples are immediately available.
