Infragistics Announces NetAdvantage for .NET 2009 Volume 2: Win Client
Flexible, advanced WPF and Windows Forms user interface toolsets enable developers to rapidly build and style high-fidelity, full-featured line of business applications
PRINCETON, N.J. and ELSTREE, England, Sept. 14 -- Infragistics, a world leader in user interface (UI) development tools and experts in the User Experience (UX) market, announced today NetAdvantage for .NET 2009 Volume 2: Win Client. Comprised of WPF and Windows Forms toolsets, this package includes complete feature sets and in-depth capabilities to arm developers with all the controls and components needed to create powerful user interfaces that deliver the 'WOW-factor' for end users.

WPF
The lightning-fast WPF grid binds to data sources containing millions of rows of data, displaying the first screen of data within milliseconds. The configurable data grid also gives developers control and flexibility to create a grid that displays data as most appropriate for their custom applications by defining column widths, sorting and styling. Because the data grid acts and feels like Microsoft Excel, end users will find it easy to use, with little to no learning curve.
Additionally, the new DataPresenterExcelExporter(TM) component provides data export capabilities from any of the WPF Data Presenter controls to Microsoft Excel using the widely-interoperable .XLS/.XLSX file formats. The visual richness of the data grid carries over to the exported worksheet in a way that provides an optimal viewing experience for Excel users.

Windows Forms
With more than seven years as the market leader, NetAdvantage's Windows Forms control toolset boasts the breadth and depth needed to create highly-functional, relevant line of business applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
In the 2009 Volume 2 release, the Microsoft Excel import and export data features in the enhanced WinGrid(TM) provide an experience that is both easy and familiar. The new WinTilePanel(TM) delivers modern interface navigation by allowing end users to customize their screen and expand windows of information and data easily. Custom editing and custom visual rendering capabilities are incorporated within the new WinControlContainerEditor(TM) while the WinTimelineView(TM) offers many options for viewing and scheduling appointments and events.

Pricing for NetAdvantage for .NET is $1,195 USD (MSRP) and $1,690 USD (MSRP) with priority support. Developers can also buy the Windows Forms and WPF toolsets as NetAdvantage for Win Client for $995 USD (MSRP) and the Windows Forms and ASP.NET control toolsets as NetAdvantage Select for $995 USD (MSRP) and $1,490 USD (MSRP) with priority support included.
