Loctite® UV LED Spot Cure System features monochromatic LED light source that emits 3.0-3.5 W/cm2 of UVA light at 365 nm. Set to continuous on or programmed output modes, system offers instant on/off and requires no warm-up time. Compact and lightweight, it consists of power source/control unit, LED driver module, LED head with 6 mm condenser lens, foot switch, and ac power adapter. With additional LED heads/driver modules, unit can handle up to 4 separate cure areas.
Expandable Loctite® UV LED Spot Cure System Cures up to Four Separate Areas
Henkel Corporation has introduced the Loctite® UV LED Spot Cure System, a UV-LED spot light source that typically emits 3.0 to 3.5 W/cm2 of UVA light at 365 nm. This monochromatic LED light source causes no thermal damage to objects being irradiated. The system can be set either to continuous on or programmed output modes depending on the requirements of the application.
Compact and lightweight, the system consists of a power source/control unit, one LED driver module, one LED head with 6 mm condenser lens, a foot switch and an AC power adapter. If expanded with additional LED heads and driver modules, this system is capable of handling up to four separate cure areas. Each LED head can be programmed to offer a four-step variable setting for UV intensity and exposure time.
The Loctite® UV LED Spot Cure System features instant on/off capability and requires no warm-up time. External remote-control on/off capabilities can be achieved using a 15 pin I/O connector. As the system is designed for low power consumption, it is an energy saving, environmentally friendly light source. The built-in LED has an expected life of 20,000 hours.
