Built to MIL-DTL-83513, Micro D-Subminiature Connectors are available with 9-37 contacts and variety of styles, terminations, and mounting options. Units offer capacitance values to 4,700 pF, can be specified for selective line filtering, and provide environmentally sealed contact area once mated. Compliant with RoHS, 3 A connectors operate up to 100 Vdc with insulation resistance of 5 GW at 100 Vdc and dielectric withstanding voltage to 300 Vdc.
New Filtered Micro D-Sub Connectors Provide Excellent EMI Protection
PA - August 27, 2009 - A new line of smaller, lightweight EMI filtered Micro D-Subminiature Connectors is introduced by Spectrum Advanced Specialty Products. These new connectors feature the same high performance EMI filtering and rugged construction as Spectrum's standard filtered D-Sub connectors. Micro D-sub connectors are designed and built to MIL-DTL-83513 and available fully RoHS compliant. The compact, small footprint of the micro D-sub addresses a range of medical, industrial and aerospace applications where space is limited and EMI a concern.
Spectrum's new micro D-sub connectors are available with 9 to 37 contacts and a variety of styles, terminations and mounting options. These connectors offer capacitance values to 4700 pF, can be specified for selective line filtering and provide an environmentally sealed contact area once mated. Micro D-sub connectors withstand an operating voltage to 100 VDC, dielectric withstanding voltage to 300 VDC, current rating of 3 Amps, and insulation resistance of 5G ohms @ 100 VDC.
Prices for Spectrum's filtered Micro D-subminiature connectors range from $ 15 to $ 60 depending on configuration and quantities.
