CoaxStrip 5300 RX Rotary Stripping Machine

30% faster processing of micro-coaxial cables

The CoaxStrip 5300 RX strips extremely small micro-coaxial cables with center conductors down to 42 AWG (0.003" mm) in diameter. Its new high-speed rotary stripping head guarantees maximum precision and shorter cycle times. A new vacuum waste collection system prevents maintenance-related machine downtime.

Micro-coaxial cables are commonly used in the medical industry and for high frequency applications in many other industries. These tiny cables have stripping dimensions with very tight tolerances which must be met in order to guarantee quality and reliability of the finished product.

The CoaxStrip 5300 RX offers maximum productivity as it combines high precision with short cycle times and user-friendly operation. Programmable functions such as incision speed, clamping force and direction of rotation, allow for optimized processing of a particular cable. Thanks to its intuitive graphical display and logical menu structures, programming the CoaxStrip 5300 RX is fast and simple. When using the optional PC Software, all programming and data management can also be done while the machine is running in production.

Short cycle times paired with excellent accessibility for the operator guarantee high output rates without compromising quality. An integrated vacuum system with slug container automatically removes even the smallest stripping waste particles from the stripping head, reducing maintenance-related machine downtime.

With more than 30 years of experience in semi- and fully automatic processing of coaxial cables and shielded cables of various types, Schleuniger now offers the CoaxStrip 5300 RX - a semi-automatic machine tailored to efficient processing of micro-coaxial cables or thin wires with difficult-to-process insulations.
