Lincoln Electric Offers New UltraCore® 75C Gas-Shielded Flux-Cored Wire

UltraCore® 75C

- Low diffusible hydrogen levels and high deposition rates for excellent bead stacking and resistance to hydrogen induced cracking

- Basic slag system provides excellent coverage of weld metal

- Capable of exceeding Charpy V-Notch impact properties of 20 ft-lbf (27 J) at -40°F (-40°C)

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric now offers the new UltraCore® 75C (E70T-5C-JH4) wire in its portfolio of premium gas-shielded, flux-cored (FCAW-G) consumables. This new product is designed to meet the requirements of the heavy equipment, structural fabrication and mining industries with low diffusible hydrogen levels, high resistance to cracking, high deposition rates and the capability to exceed 20 ft-lbf (27 J) at -40°F (-40°C).

Low Diffusible Hydrogen and High Deposition Rates

The basic slag system of UltraCore 75C increases resistance to hydrogen induced cracking in many applications including difficult to weld materials, thick sections and restrained joints. The high deposition rates featured on UltraCore® 75C provide operators with excellent stackability for welding thick steel sections with fewer passes, ideal for welding heavy equipment.

Charpy V-Notch Toughness

UltraCore 75C Charpy V-notch test results are capable of exceeding AWS E70T-5C-JH4 impact requirements of 20 ft-lbf (27 J) at -40°F (-40°C). All UltraCore consumables are offered in a ProTech® Foil Bag to protect the products from harmful moisture, ensuring optimal welding performance and extended shelf-life. Actual certificates of tests are available online at www.lincolnelectric.com.
