Based on IBASE IB883 embedded SBC, ASB200-883-6COM features Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor at 1.6 GHz and Intel® 945GSE chipset. It includes 6 COM ports, 8 programmable GPIOs, 2 USB 2.0 ports, LEDs for power/HDD, and audio jacks for line in/line out connections on front. Several rear panel I/O ports are also incorporated. Compact fanless system measures 240 x 162 x 46 mm and includes DDR2 SO-DIMM socket, 2.5 in. HDD drive bay, and 60 W power adaptor in steel black chassis.

IBASE Delivers ASB200-883-6COM Fanless System with 6 Serial Ports Support
Taipei, Taiwan, July 31, 2009 - IBASE Technology Inc. (TASDAQ: 8050), a world-leading manufacturer of single board computers and embedded systems, delivers the ASB200-883-6COM, a compact fanless embedded system based on IBASE IB883 3.5-inch disk-size embedded SBC that supports six serial ports and eight GPIOs.
The ASB200-883-6COM is configured with Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor at 1.6GHz and Intel® 945GSE chipset. The system comes in a steel, black chassis that can be wall mounted or stand on a desktop. It features six COM ports at the front panel. There are also eight programmable GPIOs terminal block connectors, two USB 2.0 ports, power and reset buttons, LEDs for power and hard disk drive and audio jacks for line in and line out connections at the front. The rear panel I/O ports include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual USB ports, one VGA/COM, DVI port, PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector and a DC-in jack.
With dimensions of 240mm(W) by 162mm(D) by 46mm(H), this embedded system has a DDR2 SO-DIMM socket, a 2.5-inch HDD drive bay and a 60W power adaptor. It is suitable for low power and fanless platforms that require support of multiple serial ports for use in POS/Kiosk, digital signage, automation, transportation and medical applications.
