Fairfield, New Jersey - July 20, 2009 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document imaging companies, today introduced the FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP 30 page per minute multifunctional printers. As part of Kyocera's ECOSYS® line of environmentally friendly products, the FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP meet Energy Star(TM) guidelines for power efficiency and utilize long-life consumables for consistent high-quality image output.
Ideally suited for today's small to medium sized businesses and shared workgroup environments, the Kyocera FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP incorporate an extensive list of standard features intended to improve the productivity of any office. The FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP include a 250 sheet paper drawer and a 50 sheet multi-purpose tray (MPT). The FS-1028MFP and FS-1028MFP/DP include standard network printing, copy and color scanning capabilities; while the FS-1128MFP also includes fax capabilities, allowing businesses the flexibility to meet their daily workflow requirements with a single device.
The FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP were engineered using Kyocera's ECOSYS technology designed to incorporate long-life consumables and components and delivers maximum business "uptime" with an industry leading 100,000 page preventive maintenance (PM) schedule. This outstanding preventive maintenance interval creates longer periods of time between required service visits and helps minimize maintenance costs, for end-users.
The FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP support a variety of network and device management tools, including KMnet Admin and KMnet Viewer. All three devices include PDF Direct Print capability; a software utility that allows users to send PDF files directly to the device. And for added convenience, the FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP come standard with a versatile USB Host interface. The front-loading USB Host Interface provides end-users with Print-from and Scan-to capabilities in PDF, TIFF and XPS file formats. This interface makes it easier to work between hard copy and electronic files without a computer, therefore, improving overall productivity and workflow efficiency.
Standard network printing includes a PowerPC440/667 MHz processor and 1200 dpi print resolution. The FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP support multiple page description languages, including Kyocera's PRESCRIBE, PCL 6 (XL, 5e), KPDL3 (PS3) and XPS, and can be connected in any Windows®, Mac or Linux environment. In addition, the FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP offer several standard scanning destinations, including Scan-to-E-mail, Scan-to-PC, Scan-to-FTP, Scan-to-USB and TWAIN scanning, with resolutions ranging from 200-600 dpi. Users can scan documents in color or black & white, allowing for greater flexibility when archiving important documents.
For organizations concerned about securing their data, Kyocera offers a variety of options, the FS-1128MFP, FS-1028MFP/DP and FS-1028MFP are embedded with advanced security technologies, which support IPsec and IPv6. A security watermark is also available to deter unauthorized reproduction of documents.
The FS-1128MFP and FS-1028MFP/DP come with a standard 50 sheet document processor rated at 30 images per minute, paper output options include up to two 250-sheet paper drawers can be installed. The FS-1028MFP can include up to two 250-sheet paper drawers options, as well as an optional 50 sheet document processor.
