July 20, 2009 - Available in Standard and Advanced versions with long or wide blocks and standard or wide rail, Miniature Linear Guides feature dowel holes on rail and block for positioning. Users can disassemble and reassemble mechanism for routine maintenance without need for realignment. In all versions, ball remains retained, even when block is removed from rail. Manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances, guides feature operating temperature range of -20 to 80°C.

Misumi Unveils New Miniature Linear Guides for Motion Control Machinery and Systems


Standard and Advanced versions feature dowel holes on rail and block. Guides are
available in a multitude of sizes and configurations, including wide and long blocks, preload, interchangeable and small clearance types.

The new Miniature Linear Guides feature dowel holes on rail and block for fast, easy positioning. The new components include Misumi Product Numbers: SSELBP, SSEBMP, SSEPWP and SSELBWP.

Linear Guides of all sizes are used in a wide range of factory automation and motion control machinery and systems. With the new Miniature Linear Guides, engineers can select from among several design options, depending on their application requirements and technical specifications. Options include:

o Advanced (preload) and Standard (interchangeable and small clearance) versions

o Long or Wide Blocks, Standard or Wide Rail, all in a variety of dimensions

o Varying guide rail with dowel hole lengths.

o The dowel holes on the rail enable easier positioning, allowing users to quickly disassemble and reassemble the mechanism for routine maintenance without the need for realignment. In all versions, the balls remain retained even when the block is removed from the rail.
