AC Current Detectors come in clamp-on and pass-thru models.

July 16, 2009 - Designed to compare AC input to fixed or adjustable current threshold, Series 870 and ACS-3 provide isolated switch or relay output that is activated as required. Housed in metal case and operating from -20 to +71°C, Series 870 features SPDT relay output with 10 A contacts, frequency from 47-63 Hz, and ¾ in. dia aperture. Series ACS-3, operating from -50 to +65°C, is housed in plastic case with solid state switch output, frequency from 6-100 Hz, and response time of 200 msec.

Industrial Application & Clamp-On Style Detectors

American Aerospace Controls for over 30 years has continued to strive toward new levels of product, quality, and service. AC & DC current, voltage, power and frequency transducers are provided for: industrial; laboratory; rail transit; land vehicle; shipboard; aircraft and space flight applications. AAC is proud to feature, series 870 & series ACS-3, AC Current Detectors. These detectors Compare the AC input to a fixed or adjustable current threshold. The output is an isolated switch or relay that is activated as required. AC current detectors now offer in clamp-on and pass-thru configurations.

Our series 870 Heavy Industrial Detector now introduces output spdt (single pole double throw)-relay (10A contacts); auto reset; adjustable (20% to 100%); power 115Vac; frequency 47-63Hz; temperature -20° to +71°C; aperture 3/4 inch dia; metal case; barrier screw terminations.

The series ACS-3 provides clamp-on switch; output solid state switch; powered by input; frequency 6-100Hz; response 200m-sec; temperature -50° to +65°C; opening 0.85 x 0.85 inch; plastic case; barrier screw terminations. Switch available normally open or normally closed.

American Aerospace Controls (AAC) offers state of the art AC and DC current, voltage, power, and frequency transducers used in a wide variety of measurement and control applications. Product design focuses on user needs and the demand for competitive price and delivery. The ISO9001 certified company incorporates quality, reliability, and safety into each of its products, and carefully monitors these factors from the development cycle through the shipment of it products. All of AAC's products come with a five-year warranty and many are UL and CSA recognized.
