Aficio GX e3300N and GX e3350N use GelSprinter(TM) technology with bi-directional, waterproof, fast-drying viscous gel ink that eliminates smudging, blurring, bleed-through, and curling. Along with automatic duplexing and permanent print heads, features include standard 250-sheet paper tray and optional 100-sheet multi-bypass tray. Characteristics include print speeds to 29 ppm, 35 sec warm-up times, first print speeds of 7.5 sec or less, and image quality up to 3,600 x 1,200 dpi.

Ricoh Introduces Aficio GX E3300n/GX E3350n GelSprinter(TM) Color Printers
Next Generation System Offers High-Quality Inkjet Printing with Environmental Benefits
WEST CALDWELL, N.J., June 25 -- Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the availability of its Ricoh Aficio GX e3300N/GX e3350N GelSprinter(TM) color inkjet series, designed to provide an affordable, high-quality, duplexing alternative to color laser technology or consumer inkjets in small offices, workgroups, and classrooms. The new Aficio GX e3300N/GX e3350N printers use next generation GelSprinter technology that incorporates a waterproof, fast-drying viscous gel ink to eliminate smudging, blurring, bleed-through and curling for professional results.
In today's challenging economic climate, companies are looking to increase productivity without impacting costs. The network-ready GelSprinters support workgroups with print speeds up to 29 pages-per-minute, 35-second warm-up times, and first print speeds of 7.5 seconds or less. The standard 250-Sheet Paper Tray allows for minimal interruption with the option of a 100-Sheet Multi-Bypass tray for heavy-stock paper that allows for banner prints up to 51 inches long.
Affordability can be found with the improved Economy Color Mode, delivering crisp text and color graphics for about the same cost-per-page as a black & white print. Additional cost savings are realized with automatic duplexing, high-capacity print cartridges, and bi-directional ink, all contributing to the lowest possible total cost of ownership.
As more companies look to "green" their offices, the Ricoh Aficio GX e3300N/GX e3350N series features a wide range of environmental attributes to satisfy the most environmentally conscious customers, without compromising productivity. Landfill waste is reduced as the printers use permanent print heads and its consumables qualify for Ricoh's recycling programs. Additionally, the Ricoh Aficio GX e3300N/GX e3350N series requires only 36 watts of electricity when printing, making it ENERGY STAR Version 1.1 compliant.
"As the latest in the evolution of GelSprinter printers, the Ricoh Aficio GX e3300N/GX e3350N series allows businesses to increase their color printing workflow, while being conscious of their impact on the environment," said Matt Sakauchi, vice president, Office Printer Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation.
The Aficio GX e3300N directly replaces the Aficio GX3000 and is Ricoh's newest color printer with standard duplexing. In addition to improved image quality (up to 3600 x 1200 dpi) using a new viscous ink formula, this model adds an Ethernet interface to its standard feature set, making this RPCS model a better choice for single users with basic general office printing needs, including some duplexing.
In addition, the Aficio GX e3350N directly replaces the Aficio GX3050N. With all the same features and specifications as the Aficio GX e3300N, this model adds PCL 5c and PCL 6 page description languages and drivers, making it an ideal color printer for larger workgroups with more sophisticated printing applications.
Both printers are competitively priced at $179.00 US for the Aficio GX e3300N, and $249.00 US for the Aficio GX e3350N.
