CAPS Launches CAPS-TRAC(TM) 4.0 to Enhance Customer Experience and Increase Efficiency
Livonia, MI - June 11th, 2009 - Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS) (www.usecaps.com) announced today the launch of the newest generation of its CAPS-TRAC(TM) proprietary web-based container tracking solution. For more than 10 years, CAPS has provided liquid and dry container rental and tracking services to the automotive, manufacturing, food, beverage, cosmetic and non-hazardous chemical markets, allowing clients to accurately track their shipments throughout the supply chain. CAPS' tracking solution reduces container loss, improves fleet visibility, and provides bill-back accountability for supply chain loss and damage.
CAPS' 4.0 release of the CAPS-TRAC(TM) application leverages the latest technologies and significantly enhances functionality, including:
o Compatibility with the latest version of Windows Mobile operating system
o Automatic reconnection of data transmission to ensure accurate and timely information
o Ability to track and trace damages
o Enhanced scanning software to itemize repair services

To execute tracking, CAPS provides customers with one or more of its hand-held, bi-lingual scanners. Customers scan containers in and out of their facilities, sending data automatically to CAPS for processing. The CAPS-TRAC(TM) solution is used at all CAPS' service centers nationwide, providing immediate visibility to status of containers. In addition, all data tracked is backed up in a secure offsite location to ensure no service interruptions.
