Respectively powered by 3 and 5 hp electric motors, Super Max(TM) 8700 WS and 8720 WS are designed for commercial use in removing rust, corrosion, and heavy deposits. Included wet sandblasting kit consists of flexible 15 ft sand pickup tube, sand point, and venturi head that creates uniform blast pattern and increases sand velocity. While Super Max 8700 WS produces pressures to 1,500 psi and flow rates to 3 gpm, Super Max 8720 WS generates pressures to 2,000 psi and flow rates to 4 gpm.
Daimer Industries Announces Two Cold-Water, Wet-Sandblasting Pressure Washers
New electric-powered Super Max(TM) machines offer high-performance for commercial customers.
WOBURN, MA - June 9, 2009 - Daimer Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products, introduced the Super Max(TM) 8700 WS and 8720 WS, cold-water pressure washers featuring wet sandblasting systems.
"These new electric-powered pressure washers combine sandblasting with different pressure levels and flow rates," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer spokesman. "This equipment is ideal for removing rust, corrosion and the heaviest deposits."
Sand-Blasting Technology
The wet sandblasting kit included with these industrial pressure washers consists of a flexible 15-foot sand pickup tube, sand point and a special venturi head, which creates a uniform blast pattern and increases the sand velocity. The wet sand-blasting systems can be used with a wide range of sand grit sizes as well as different media, such as baking soda and small plastic pellets.
Because these wet sand blasting systems use high-pressure water, the equipment is safer to use than units employing compressed air, which requires the operator to wear special breathing apparatus.
Both products offer chemical infusion via low-pressure injection. Multi-gun operation is available as an option at additional cost.
The Products
Super Max(TM) 8700 WS pressure washers produce pressure levels of up to 1500 psi and flow rates of up to 3 GPM. The machines are powered by a 3 HP electric motor. The 8720 WS electric powered pressure washers generate pressure levels of up to 2000 psi, flow rates of up to 4 GPM and are powered by a 5 HP electric motor.
Both of these mobile pressure washers are on wheels and include: a 25-foot, high-pressure steam hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect; assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case.
