New 1U Rack Mounted 2 & 4 Displays Console Drawer and KVM Switch
Azusa, CA (June 1, 2009) Acme Portable Machines, Inc., a leading provider of rugged portable computers, today announced the immediate availability of their newest 1U industrial rack mounted console drawer fitted with either 2x 13.3" or 4x 8.4" LCD displays. Built for space constraining environments and simple organization, the slim 1U high console drawer is composed of multiple LCD displays, full QWERTY keyboard and a touchpad. Each unit can monitor display from 4 devices simultaneously. The built-in quick keyboard/touchpad switches making it ideal for medium to large-scale computer rooms common to computer telephony, storage area networks, security monitoring and web server applications.
The integrated 2x 13.3" 800x1280 or 4x 8.4" 800x600 flat panel TFT screen come with anti-glare tempered glass for added protection to the LCD screen. Four resistive touchscreens are integrated with SMK140 model. You can control and access your application immediately using a stylus or just your fingers.
The SMK120/140 provides increased advantages because it uses less space for monitoring 4 concurrent displays from 4 computers. Built on heavy duty metal sliding rails and a lightweight heavy duty chassis, the SMK120/140 console drawer easily extends from the base and allows for better angling of the monitor for user preferred viewing angles.
The keyboard has 105 keys Cherry keyboard with 2-button touchpad for cursor controls. Each port connects to other devices using D-Sub 15 VGA/USB keyboard/mouse cable reducing the need for a separate keyboard and mouse connection for each device along with multiplied cabling.
