Featuring Intel® 945GSE+ICH7M chipset, eBOX639-836-FL supports onboard 1.6 GHz Intel Atom(TM) N270 processor with 533 MHz FSB and uses Intel GMA 950 technology for optimal 3D performance. Application-ready platform, measuring 182 x 230 x 130.8 mm, offers 240-pin DIMM socket that supports up to 2 GB DDR2 400/533 DRAM. Design facilitates access to two 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slots, and connectivity is fostered by I/O for 2.5 in. SATA drive, CompactFlash(TM) type-II, COM, USB 2.0, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Taipei, Taiwan, June 09, 2009 - AXIOMTEK's eBOX639-836-FL fanless embedded system, which supports new Intel® Atom(TM) N270 1.6GHz processor with a 533MHz FSB and the highly-integrated Intel® 945GSE Express chipset offering excellent computing performance at remarkably low power consumption. One 240-pin DIMM socket supports up to 2 GB DDR2 400/533 DRAM for high memory bandwidth. With Intel® GMA 950 technology, the eBOX639-836-FL features outstanding 3D performance with a maximum video memory of up to 224MB by sharing the system memory. In addition, the fanless embedded box computer offers two PCI slots to deliver mass expansibility. The eBOX639-836-FL is a cost-effective application-ready platform targeted at industrial automation, digital signage (DSA), industrial controller, and vehicle applications.
Without a fan and enclosed in an extremely rugged aluminum housing only 182 x 230 x 130.8 mm in size, the eBOX639-836-FL can be wall mounted in the space-limited environment. For convenient assembly, this fanless embedded system adopts special design featuring easy access to the PCI slots; customer can install or replace their PCI cards without open the whole box. Certification with CE marking, the eBOX639-836-FL's fanless design and unique thermal solution support it to operate noiseless and reliable in critical environments at temperature from -10°C to 55°C. The high expansion embedded box PC also offers excellent vibration resistance up to 1Grms (with HDD).

The eBOX639-836-FL is an all-in-one embedded computer featuring rich I/O connectors include one 2.5" SATA drive bay, one CompactFlash(TM) type-II, six COM ports, six USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, PS/2 ports, audio and VGA, and is equipped with a 12V~30VDC 107 watt power supply. It has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error. Moreover, it supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux.
