BinMaster® SmartBob C-50 Analog Expansion Console

Monitors Multiple Bins with Less Equipment

(Lincoln, Nebraska-June 4, 2009) The SmartBob C-50 Analog Expansion Console enables monitoring of multiple bins equipped with SmartBob2 or SmartBob-TS1 sensors from a single C-100 Control Console, offering the benefits of significantly reducing the amount of equipment needed to monitor multiple bins, simplifying installation, and reducing overall equipment and wiring costs. The C-50 is the latest enhancement to BinMaster's SmartBob cable-based inventory tracking system, which is designed to reliably measure the level of powders, granules, pellets, and dry bulk solids as well as liquids in all types of bins, tanks and silos.

The C-50 Analog Expansion Console provides convenient networked communications by interfacing with the C-100 SmartBob Control Console to provide multiple 4-20mA outputs and centralizing all analog outputs to a single centralized location. The C-50 connects to the C-100 via a dedicated RS-485 cable; the C-100 is connected via a daisy chained RS-485 network to monitor data from 1 up to 120 SmartBob2 or SmartBob-TS1 sensors. The SmartBob inventory management system can be applied as an automated wired or wireless inventory monitoring and reporting solution for the grain, seed, feed, cement, coal, aggregates, food, chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industries.

"The SmartBob inventory management system offers centralized bin level monitoring from either a stationary console or from Windows-based eBob software installed on a PC," stated BinMaster vice president of sales Todd Peterson. "With both wired and wireless options and SmartBob sensors for small bins up to 40 feet and tall bins up to 180 feet ... BinMaster has the most flexible, convenient and affordable inventory management system on the market today."
