Powerful Low-power Processing
The PCE-5130 is designed with the Intel® 945GME notebook chipset and supports Intel® mobile Core(TM)2 Duo, Core(TM) Duo, and Celeron® M processors, with 667 MHz FSB and DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM up to 4 GB. High computing power makes the PCE-5130 capable of handling missions needing massive data or image processing, yet the low power requirements mean the PCE-5130 still runs cool. Maximum CPU power requirements are 34 watts for a T7600 processor, 31 watts for a T2700, and a mere 27 watts for a Celeron® 530.
Powerful Graphics
In addition to great computing power, PCE-5130 has the high-performance integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics core, with 224MB shared memory and provides VGA and LVDS dual display interfaces. Advanced graphics capability and flexible, dual display ports make this host board suitable for applications requiring intense 3D/2D graphics processing or dual display functions.
PCE-5130 is also rich in I/O interface, with two SATA ports for connecting mainstream hard disks and optical drives, and the two on-board serial ports (COM ports) can be used for device control applications. Dual Gigabit Ethernet LANs give it strong networking capability.
With one PCIe x16 and four PCIe x1 lanes going to the backplane, the PCE-5130 can be used with all Advantech PCE-5000 series backplanes (eighteen options) to use mainstream PCIe x16 graphics cards as well as a host of PCI, PCI-X and PCIe expansion capabilities.
