Water Treatment System features compact, modular design.
June 2, 2009 -
Vantage VNX system is compact, modular skidded system designed to produce 50-900 gpm of deionized water from reverse osmosis feed. It incorporates Ionpure continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) technology, which is chemical-free process for deionizing water using combination of selective ion exchange membranes, conductive resins, and electricity to remove ions from water. High-purity water system consists of stackable modules to minimize space.
Siemens' New Vantage VNX Systems Offer Eco-Friendly, Compact, High-Purity Water Treatment
Siemens Water Technologies has introduced the Vantage VNX system, an eco-friendly, high-purity water system for the power, microelectronics and general industry markets. These compact, modular skidded systems are a green alternative to chemically regenerated mixed-bed deionization (MBDI) systems and are designed to produce 50 gpm (11.4 m3/hr) to 900 gpm (204.4 m3/hr) of deionized water from reverse osmosis (RO) feed.
Vantage VNX systems incorporate Ionpure continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) technology that uses high-flow VNX modules. CEDI is a simple and chemical-free process for deionizing water using a combination of selective ion exchange membranes, conductive resins, and electricity to remove ions from water. Because the VNX modules are stackable, the compact skid saves valuable floor space. In addition, unlike MBDI systems, there is no need for expensive acid and caustic regeneration chemicals or the inconvenience of exchangeable DI tanks. Also, compared to traditional ion exchange units, Vantage VNX systems offer continuous operation and product water quality that is comparable to traditional mixed-bed deionizers. Siemens Water Technologies offers the Vantage VNX system with a short lead time and at a competitive price. Systems are also designed to meet IBC (International Building Code) and seismic requirements and are also fully tested in Siemens' ISO9001 certified facility to provide immediate start-up. In addition, Siemens provides a CEDI module warranty that is unparalleled in the industry. Further information about solutions for water treatment is available at http://www.siemens.com/water.
