Models PSA065, for access devices and peripherals, and PSA065M for medical equipment and touchscreen displays with maximum leakage current of 100 µA, are 65 W devices measuring 2 x 4 x 1.11 in. They operate at more than 80% efficiency at maximum load and offer minimum of 250,000 hours MTBF. Operating in temperatures from 0-50°C and humidity from 5-95%, CE-compliant units include overvoltage and overcurrent protection with auto-restart. They are available in 12, 24, and 48 V output models.
Phihong Launches 65 W Open-Frame Power Supplies for 1U Applications
FREMONT, Calif. - (May 27, 2009) - Phihong, one of the most trusted names in power
electronics, has developed two single-output, 65W, open-frame power supplies designed to fit 1U applications. Available in 12-, 24-, and 48V output models, the power supplies, designated the PSA065 and PSA065M series, comply with the CE low-voltage directive and feature a low-profile 2- by 4-inch footprint. The PSA065 Series power supplies have been designed for use in access devices and peripherals, as well as telecom, data com, and industrial applications, while the PSA065M Series power supplies are ideal for medical equipment, gaming, and touch-screen display applications.

Both the PSA065 and PSA065M power supply series operate at more than 80% efficiency at maximum load and are extremely reliable, featuring a minimum of 250,000 hours MTBF in standard operating conditions. The power supplies can tolerate temperatures ranging
from 0°C to +50°C and humidity ranging from 5 to 95%. The series also feature over-voltage and over-current protection with auto-restart.
In addition to CE-compliance, PSA065 power supplies also meet cUL/UL 60950-1 and
IEC 60950-1, while PSA065M power supplies meet cUL/UL 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1. The
PSA065M also features a maximum leakage current of 100 µA.
Both series measure 4 inches in length by 2 inches in width by 1.11 inches in height and weigh 6.35 ounces.
The suggested unit price for the PSA065 is $22.08 in single piece quantities, and the
