Converter handles HDTV video signals.


June 9, 2009 - Model AT-COMP500 Composite Video Down Converter takes component HDTV video signals up to 1080p and down converts them to composite and S-video signals simultaneously. Conversion is applicable in PAL or NTSC formats and component video pass-through connection is supported. Unit can remain powered on and enables HD to be integrated into various touchpanels in any commercial application.

Atlona Technologies Soon to Release New Component Video to S-Video and Composite Video Down Converter, AT-COMP500


Atlona Technologies is soon to add to their Converter product line with the AT-COMP500. Atlona's new Converter has the ability to take Component HDTV video signals with resolutions up to 1080p and down convert these very signals to that of both Composite and S-Video signals simultaneously. This conversion will be applicable in either PAL or NTSC formats as well as offer a Component Video Pass-Though Connection. With this products easy installation and compact frame design, it will be sure stay easily out of site. Along with these attributes, the Atlona down-converter has the ability to remain constantly powered-on; excellent for any commercial application.

Atlona's AT-COMP500 has been the long awaited tool for custom integrators to take HD into composite based systems as well as the connection of touch panels, such as Crestron, AMX, Extron or any other, to the existing feed. Whether it is for digital signage applications or simply connecting an HD source to a touch panel display, the AT- COMP500 is the perfect unit for complete and reliable down conversion.

The AT-COMP500 is will be available in June with an MSRP of $279.00.
