Sunrise Telecom Debuts the UDSL-3Play Module for the MTT Platform, the Ultimate Tool for DSL-based Triple Play Services

New UDSL-3Play module enables telecom service providers to speed DSL-based triple play services deployment and ensure the highest Quality of Experience.

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 27, 2009 - Sunrise TelecomŽ Incorporated (OTC: SRTI.PK), a leader in test and measurement solutions for telecom, cable and wireless networks, today introduced the UDSL-3Play module for its industry-leading Modular Test Toolkit (MTT) Platform. When combined with the MTT Advanced Cable Maintenance (ACM II) chassis, the new UDSL-3Play module completes the ultimate tool for DSL-based triple play services, enabling telecom service providers to thoroughly verify the copper infrastructure and triple play IP services delivered over a Universal DSL access network.

"Sunrise Telecom pioneered DSL field test solutions and continues to drive the standard with its new UDSL-3Play module," said Olga Yashkova, Industry Analyst, Frost & Sullivan. "As telcos migrate to all IP networks, Sunrise Telecom's MTT ACM II with this newest module will prove to be a key tool for DSL and IP services testing."

In its February 2009 World xDSL Test Equipment Markets Report, Frost & Sullivan reported that Sunrise Telecom held the leading market share in the world for handheld xDSL test equipment. Customers already using the MTT Platform can easily add the UDSL-3Play module providing them the ability to perform comprehensive DSL infrastructure and Triple Play services testing easily and efficiently.

"Our Telco customers are focused on driving higher revenues from bundled services requiring them to migrate to ADSL2+, VDSL or FTTH," said Bahaa Moukadam, Sunrise Telecom's Vice President Marketing. "This new product introduction is a continuation of our focus on providing our customers with innovative, simple to use and timely solutions to help supercharge their major business initiatives."

The UDSL-3Play module provides efficient yet comprehensive testing capabilities for ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, and VDSL2 based access networks. Key features include both customer premises and central office DSL modem emulation and IP data connectivity and throughput tests to determine Internet access and overall Quality of Experience (QoE). In addition, the test module can measure QoE for IP video by emulating a set top box and for VoIP by emulating an IP Phone. Efficient and intuitive features like the single button DSL test, which automatically presents a summary screen of key metrics, reduces the time spent on initial training and accelerates triple play installation.

The Sunrise Telecom UDSL-3Play module is immediately available. For pricing information contact Sunrise Telecom at 800-701-5208 or visit the company's web site, http://www.sunrisetelecom.com/sales/reps.shtml.
