Bridge connects serial devices to Ethernet networks.

May 21, 2009 - With NET 620 Serial to Ethernet Bridge, users can integrate serial connected devices into Ethernet networks without complicated network interface. No special PLC configuration is needed to integrate DF1 or ModBus RTU devices into EtherNet/IP or ModBus TCP/IP networks. Device can be configured using supplied SetLinc(TM) utility software or web browser, and for most installations, user must only set IP address and port speed.

The Serial to Ethernet Bridge

NET620- The Serial to Ethernet Bridge

Bellevue, Washington, May 20, 2009 - DATA-LINC announced today the NET620 serial to Ethernet bridge. DATA-LINC's advanced NET620 allows integration of serial connected devices into Ethernet networks without a complicated network interface. No special PLC configuration is needed to integrate DF1 or ModBus RTU devices into EtherNet/IP or ModBus TCP/IP networks. When used as a terminal server, any serial port redirect software will work. Configuring the NET620 is easy using either the supplied SetLincTM utility software or a web browser. For most installations all that is required is to set the IP address and the port speed.

DATA-LINC products provide excellent reliability with attention to the "bottom line," making network design easier, more efficient and more cost-effective saving money, time and effort. The serial to Ethernet (or Ethernet to serial) NET620 is a simple device that solves a formerly complex and expensive interfacing challenge.

DATA-LINC's advanced NET620 allows integration of serial connected devices into Ethernet networks without a complicated network interface.
