New Inspector I20 FLEX Vision Sensor Offers Greater Application Flexibility
SICK (www.sickusa.com), one of the world's leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, today announced the launch of its Inspector I20 FLEX Vision Sensor. The I20 augments SICK's existing line of Inspector Vision Sensors by providing new features that enable greater application flexibility. New features include interchangeable lenses and an I/O extension module with up to 16 outputs - making it ideal for inspecting nearly any high-speed application in the packaging industry.
The I20 offers four different lens options that make it easy to quickly alter the field of view based on the type of application. In addition, the I/O extension module enables users to program up to 19 outputs. These additional outputs, along with the Inspector's ability to logically combine detailed inspection tools, provide improved confirmation on pass/fail inspections. The I20's increased flexibility allows for more precise analysis of parts - no matter what angle or orientation a product comes down the line.
