This means that a continuous stream of ASCII characters at standard baud rates up to 19,200 baud can be converted to USB keyboard codes. The high rate is especially useful in bar code reader applications, which often generate a burst of continuous characters. The high conversion rate now available from these Converters allows a bar code scan to be converted to USB key codes at full scanning speed.
